BlackMountain

I worked with Gem not one, not twice, but three times in 4 days on a recent event in Wales. I is one lucky photographer :). We worked a range of images including shots in a local stream of very cold mountain water. Gem was superberb even when we walked back to the accomdation though an intense shower and I asked her to keep shooting once we warmed back up. Just mulling over ideas for our next shoot and one less exposed to the great British summer I think :). Whatever we do Gem will deliver with her usual panache!

Easy to work with, direct, very professional and now has lots of experience . We did a variety of shots including inside and out and got some fantastic results including natural light and infill. As part of Pauls-Studio "Wales Weekend" I had the genuine pleasure of working with Gem - not once but twice - and, boy, does she live up to her name, a real diamond. I am a relative newcomer to portrait/fashion/art photography and Gem delicately guided me in how to get better results, picking the right lighting, the better angles to shoot from, etc. Being a photographer herself she also guided me on options to improve my images - but in such a way that I almost convinced myself that it was my idea! Gem is also a brilliant conversationalist, I'm sure we talked the hind legs of the proverbial donkey, and the time flew and I have many amazing shots that will remind me of how good it was - until the next time. Thank you Gem.

Had the enjoyable pleasure of working with Gem on Tuesday at Libre Studios, Liverpool.

Arriving on time Gem worked hard throughout the 6 hour shoot in a confident, and professional manor.

Effortless, and excellent posing abilities with plenty of elegance, and poise which were supplemented by her sheer outfits. Gem's experience really shows which makes life a lot easier for the photographer.

I worked with GEM for the first time at a Tabitha Boydell event in Thirsk. She needed no direction but was fast to adapt to the photographers ideas and requests. Her posing is superb and has poise and grace.

I had the pleasure of working with Gem for the first time on a 1-2-1 at the Shapeshifter studio in Warrington whilst she was visiting the area. Pre shoot comms were perfect (organised, prompt, and informative). Gem arrived early giving us time to chill with a brew and plan out the session. She came very well prepared with a super selection of outfits that fitted her style and my requests.

Gem is genuinely such a lovely chilled and easy going person with so much talent, creativeness, and passion about her craft. It was such a chilled and relaxed shoot as if we had worked together many times before. Throughout the shoot Gem was full of positive ‘can do’ energy putting 110% effort into every shot, Gem not only poses effortlessly but she has an amazing eye for the fine details ensuring she brings any concept to life with an amazing Wow factor.

If you are lucky enough to work with this fantastic young lady, then you’re in for an amazing shoot. Totally recommended.

This was my second shoot with Gem, this time at her studio day at Neon Dreams Studio. Gem came with a wide range of outfits which worked well with her timeless looks and amazing hair. We were looking to create a range of creative portraits in keeping with one of the studio’s set up’s, followed by some high energy red and silver shots. Gem has the perfect look for timeless portraits which have the appearance of paintings by the great masters. Gem is able to bring the right pose and expression to the pictures and is also able to take feedback from the back of camera. Her great experience enabled us to get into the “groove” quickly and soon we producing some great creative pictures. Working with Gem was a delight and the time just flew by. I can recommend Gem most highly and look forward to future shoots with her.

This was my first shoot with Gem, and it was at the Neon Dreams studio. Gem had masses of clothing and we jointly agreed clothing and what to do on the sets. She is very easy to get on with and it was a very enjoyable shoot. I can thoroughly recommend her and hope to work with her again one day. Thanks Gem for a fun couple of hours, and I am very happy with the images I took.

Last week, I had a lovely remote session with Gem, working on a couple of my projects. We'd discussed the themes, and she was fully prepared with wardrobe and setup to effectively capture appropriate images.

She's got great control over, and has a large range of expression, and poses were spot-on.

Art Asylum Reloaded Photo Studio

This was gem's first visit to the studio and I'm sure she will be back again.

She worked with 3 photographers on the day and made sure they all got great images and worked to achieve their ideas for them.

She was easy to get along with and posed brilliantly and all the photographers went away from the day extremely happy.

I booked a two hour slot on Gem's Studio day at Art Asylum In Weymouth, Dorset. Gem was already at the studio, and ready to go as soon as I was. She brought with her a selection of outfits that suited My BoHo idea utilising one the sets at the studio.

Gem is lovely and a dream to work with, she was very patient while I was getting using the changing natural light conditions in the studio.

We were talking about her varied career as a model and film extra.

We also shot some experiment Art nude in the studio using the infinity curve a studio flash. Indeed a very versatile model. Highly Recommended.

Can't wait to shoot again some time.

Just had a great shoot with Gem at her studio day at Art Asylum Reloaded in Weymouth.

Gem is a fantastic model who is very experienced, very professional and a genuine delight to work with. She has a great range of quality outfits, including exactly the styles I was looking for. She is also very creative providing plenty of ideas for the shoot, including advice on lighting.

Definitely very highly recommended and I certainly hope to work with her again soon.

I had my third shoot with Gem yesterday. As always she was highly professional. Her posing met and improved upon my aims for the shoot and I now have many great images to work with. Very highly recommended.

When Gem visited a nearby studio, I have taken the opportunity to do a shoot with her.

The theme during the first part of our shoot was (nude) fashion, where we were able to create some nice looking images.

It was during the second half of the shoot, when we did a range of images in a low-key setting, that Gem surprised me with her vigor and enthusiasm. She was on a roll, which great to witness.

Yes, I would recommend Gem.
