Had another fabulous session with Mel yesterday. Lost count now, but we've shot a number of times and always produce some stunning works together. Mel makes your life easy as she's a natural poser and reads any given scene accurately understanding the mood. she has a natural figure which is so well proportioned with blemish free skin. such a great figure. 2nd shoot with Mel at Sandon today. I've really enjoyed working with her. She's so much on the page with any plan or project that you put to her, and was also brilliant when rain meant that we had to adlib. During the shoot, she was easy to strike a rapport with, and put a lot of effort into some amazing poses and interpretation of the brief. Mel remained professional throughout the shoot, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to other photographers. I'm looking forward to arranging our next shoot in the great outdoors.

Yay the story continues. After a year since our last shoot (due to Mel's 'retirement') I was delighted to learn that she was back modelling and holding a studio day at Sandon Studio. So our 15th shoot together went as well as all the others: with Mel having a lovely selection of clothes to suit the surroundings as we worked through fashion, fashion nude, boudoir and art nude genres. Mel has an innate sense of symmetry and shapes that her long limbs can create and uses this to the full in her posing. She is also a lovely person to chat to and I will keep on shooting her for as long as she is willing to put up with me.

I met Melissa during a model weekend at Sandon studio, whilst I did not model directly alongside her, I got a glimpse of how great she was at working with each photographer during the day! It was a pleasure to spend time with her and have since seen a whole variety of beautiful photos that came from the weekend! I'd happily recommend her to other photographers!

Being the wuss I am, as our garden thermometer said it was 34 degrees I suggested that Mel and I postpone our shoot. She was having none of it, arrived on time (well, a teeny bit early which is good) with exactly what we needed. We set ourselves a bit of a challenge to see how quickly we could get through 4 ideas.

Mels' references barely do her justice, she's super. If you ever want to book a model who makes a shoot far easier than it should be, then book her.

So we did the 4 ideas in under an hour, and, courtesy of her amazing poses and looks, we have an absolutely cracking set of images.

Mel is a great model to work with, as well as having clinically long legs, she has arms to match. Joking asside, I do enjoy working with Mel and once again at this group shoot we have managed to create some really interesting images.

Regardless of the rather unusal setups for shoots nothing phases her, well we all have a little fear of heights - she has a great look for fashion and her art nude is effortless. Unlike some i could mention, her hands are beautifully posed.

Before I write too much - shes a great model to work with and whilst you have the chance do create some art with her.

Mel is so easy to get on with, doesn't need any direction for posing, glides from pose to another effortless.

I can't recommend Mel highly enough, looking forward to working with Mel again.

I had the pleasure of working with Mel recently at an event held at Rainbow studios, it was the first time I had worked with her and it was really easy to do so.

Great outfits and I didn't think they did trousers that long ;)

Poses were made to look easy and took direction when it was offered.

Overall a cracking model to work with and hope to again in the future.

I had the pleasure of shooting with the lovely Mel again over the weekend at Rainbow Studio, Manchester. I've worked with her a few times now, and she never fails to impress. As has been observed, clocking in at 5' 13½", she's incredibly tall, long limbed and lithe, and this helps her create striking poses for both fashion and nude work.

She's great fun to work with, requires little direction, and is completely unfazeable. A fantastic weekend shooting was had, and I totally recommend her.

Lost count of the number of times we have shot together. Was worried that after my move 'up north' there would not be another shoot.

Fortunately Mel organised a tour and we got a chance to shoot some shapes as well as some fashion nude with a different lighting style.

Always love working with Mel - thoroughly organised and excellent comms. She really understands lighting and is able to use it well to guide her posing to get awesome images for the photographer.

Thoroughly recommended - when's the next tour? :-)

Solo studio

Melissa had a productive day at the studio and left her photographers from the event very satisfied.

Excellent pre-comms, punctual, needed little or no direction during her time here. Easy recommendation. :)

Had the pleasure of working with Melissa at Solo studio in Leicester. Melissa is a very accomplished model, with a great look and figure, that it is matched by her personality. Chatty and friendly throughout, even during the frequent coffee breaks that I seem to have. A very relaxed, fun and productive shoot. Easily recommended.

Lovely shoot this afternoon with Mel. I'd provided a very brief note detailing outfits and what I was hoping to achieve from the shoot. Mel brought along what I'd asked and certainly achieved the brief. I'd not met her before, but she was personable and easy to get on with whilst remaining professional and focused to the task throughout. I've already got our next shoot arranged for June, and can't wait. I recommend any photographer that hasn't worked with Mel, to seize the opportunity should it arise. Thanks Mel, I've got some lovely results.

Mel and I have been trying to arrange to shoot since we were both young (well, her a bit younger than I!!!) Today it happened and a quick summary is.. 'wow'

Having known Mel for a while I know her people skills are great, she's very easy to talk to, great in terms of shoot planning, and VERY determined to ensure a shoot goes well.

Once the shoot starts, Mel retains her great personality and adds her awesome model character into the mix. Given our limited time (and light) we worked pretty quickly, and covered 3 very distinct styles, Mel switching from style to style in the blink of an eye.

Tremendous model as you can see from her portfolio and references. Now one more. Highly recommended.

I love shooting with Mel anyway - we have similar senses of humour so the chat just flows naturally - but I'd been looking for a specific reason to shoot with her again, so suggested a few weeks ago that we might catch another bluebell shoot (we did one together a couple of years ago). Mel said that she'd found a great bluebell wood near her and so, at about 24 hours notice (that's how it can be done when you want to!) we had it all arranged.

The woods didn't disappoint, and of course Mel was her usual amazing self. The rain interrupted play briefly (thank goodness for reflector-on-a-stand which doubles as a shelter!) but that didn't stop her from pulling off some awesome poses after we resumed.

This was shoot #10. We have plans in place for #11 and #12. 'Nuff said!

Had such a lovely shoot this evening, finishing the one of from Thursday evening, weather was lovely as such was the company, Melissa & her boyfriend are lovely people, got so many amazing images, I can't thank her enough, can't highly recommend her enough to any other photographer, so down to earth and easy to get on with, looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Had my first shoot with the lovely Melissa, what can I say, the communication was superb from start to finish, we went to some local Bluebell woods where we did art nude and she wore two lovely dresses that really worked well with the colours of the surrounding area.

I enjoyed every minute and we got lots of lovely images. I would very highly recommend Melissa, she is a very professional lady. We are going to finish the shoot on Saturday (due to the today's weather), I am really looking forward to it. I would 100% recommend her to any photographer, and would love to work with her again after Saturday.
