at the edge of paradise, Costa del Gloucester

I dreamt up a little poem to go with this image while I was editing it:

he pushed right through to the other side

of the cusp of heaven and earth

he took his soul along for the ride

of a lifetime of looming rebirth

his breath gave form to a mythical creature

a male who gives birth to himself

everything contains its opposite feature

and death is a portal to life
