I met swchughes when he hosted a shoot with Tyra Deville and Gerrelle at his flat. Simon was really communicative before the shoot and gave me a video tour of the shooting area so that I could plan beforehand. On the day I found him really easy to get along with. Simon had some great ideas and I was happy to work under his direction to set up the shooting area and his advice during the shoot. I hope to work with Simon again in the future.

Another great shoot with swchughes when he hosted an event with Tyra Deville and MetroFoto99 at his studio. Simon is a brilliant person and a very positive talented and creative photographer, spot on communication before, during and after the shoot. this was shoot number 4 since we met few years back and I am extremely happy to pose again and again simply because the results are always good. Lots of amazing pictures, easy and relaxed atmosphere and hopefully long friendship. I hope to work with Simon again in the future. and highly recommend

Simon was so kind and his attention to detail simply can't be matched! We had a video call prior and he showed me his home studio (which is very cool by the way) he has many props and backdrops! He was super kind all throughout and made me feel very comfortable! He gave us some snacks near the end which was really nice of him and even contributed towards our dinner! Such a kind soul!

We had a great time, his sense of humour is great haha! I'm very impressed with the quality of the photos!

I will be returning ASAP and hope to have regular shoots with him, thankyou Simon.

I did a shoot with Simon yesterday at his home studio, and had an enjoyable time, managing to shoot 6 different styles during the day. Simon had communicated well in the lead up to the shoot so we could both prepare and get a shoot plan together. Simon and his wife were very welcoming and generously provided lunch during the shoot which was great! Simon is very enthusiastic and happy to accommodate the ideas I wanted to try and capture. He has so many props and accessories as well as a good selection of backgrounds, lighting and effects. I wanted to try some different colour lighting and Simon was great at this with some lovely results. I’m really pleased with the photos and looking forward to receiving the edits. I would recommend Simon and look forward to next time.

It was great to shoot with Simon, he had a large selection of sets including outfits, backdrops, UV paint, all in his really nice apartment! I have recently dyed my hair with UV dye so it was amazing to be able to get some shots under his UV light!

He was very professional and made me feel comfortable and let me free flow, but also had some ideas!

He expensed my travel which was very kind, the shoot was super fun and I'd love to do it again sometime!

My first shoot of the year with Simon. We shot with not one but two models consecutively. Both were excellent & it was a great afternoon. I was made very comfortable as always & I look forward to sharing more shoots in the year ahead. Simon has an endless supply of outfits & accessories & the models love going through it all.

I had a fantastic second shoot with Simon! We shot tons of lifestyle-type photos, portraits, and bridal - with SO many different backdrops and outfits. We even got to try some light-painting which was super fun! The photos are stunning and exactly what I was hoping for! Simon's talent really shines through in every photograph he takes :)

Simon's wife was there and she was lovely as always, and Simon kept me fuelled with yummy food and snacks throughout, which was so very kind!

We still have lots of ideas for what to shoot next - I'm already looking forward to our next shoot!

It was my first shoot with Simon that was a joint one with Dave and I had a fab day shooting with both of them. Simon has an amazing selecting selection of different backdrops and places to shoot at his and lots of props too. A lovely, very professional photographer who I highly recommend shooting with 😊

I shot with Simon and Dave on Friday and had an enjoyable shoot. Simon communicated thoroughly pre-shoot and had clear definitions of styles which I found to be helpful and help me pack.

I always over pack because I’m that person but had I have under-packed, Simon had a plethora of props and clothing that could be used.

Simon is very humorous throughout the shoot and tries to make models feel at ease whilst shooting. He comes with ideas and is happy to accommodate the models as much as he can.

His wife is lovely and was around the shoot which made me feel comfortable as well. They were very kind in providing teas/coffees/ biscuits and cakes even fitting to my dietary preferences.

The space to shoot is vast and well laid out with a number of different areas so you can have a very versatile shoot. We shot for about 5 hours and Simon sent me through the unedited photos before I’d even left the platform!

I look forward to going through them and picking out some good ones!

Simon is an amazing photographer. I had this great opportunity to work with him on a studio photoshoot. He was very organised and came up with multiple different ideas. He had a lot of props with him to try on the day of shoot. And he was always open for any suggestions. We created some amazing pictures from our last shoot and looking forward for our next shoot.

I had a fantastic first shoot with Simon! It was my first ever PurplePort shoot so I was a little nervous, but Simon made me feel so at ease. We shot for HOURS, but the time flew. Photographer daveinsurrey also joined us for the latter part of the shoot.

Simon was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the station, I met his lovely wife, and he even provided lunch which was so kind. There was also lots of coffee, snacks, juice, and my fav - fizzy water!

Simon is SO talented - my jaw DROPPED multiple times when he showed me the previews for the shots. He has tons of clothes, props and backdrops to choose from, and we didn’t even scratch the surface of what we wanted to shoot. I didn’t even manage to step foot back home and Simon had already sent me the unedited files. There are some true favourites in there which I love and will be adding to my portfolio.

I definitely hope to shoot with Simon again soon, and I highly recommend shooting with him!

Simon very kindly asked me to join him today on a shoot with new model Kaya at his lovely home studio. I am so pleased that I said yes as I had an amazing day. We shot for over 7 hours and Simon and his wife very kindly served lunch and drinks all day long. Simon is a great guy and an accomplished photographer, really taking things professionally. I was very impressed with all of the equipment and knowledge that he has. I learnt some new things today and I am most grateful for that. So thank you Simon. I look forward to doing it all again very soon.
